The Ualbany debate team is an APDA (American Parliamentary Debate Association) style debate team that competes at different tournaments across the country. We compete with many other prestigious schools and we take pride in our work ethic and debating abilities. Although we are a relatively new program, we are quickly growing and plan on continuing to grow and progress as both individuals and as a team. Not only does this debating team help with debating skills, it helps with public speaking skills as well. This team allows Ualbany students the opportunity to join their intelligent and sprited peers in competition. In this atmosphere we have the   opportunity to make new friends both on the team and on the road.
